Attorney Rod Underhill is the professor of Music Law at Thomas Jefferson School of Law San Diego.
A cofounder of the original MP3.com, Mr. Underhill has been responsible for contracts involving Madonna, David Bowie, Tom Petty, Ice-T, The Offspring and many other famed acts.
He helps clients with contracts, trademarks (usually to protect their ownership over their band name), music copyrights and other issues that face recording artists.
He is a member of the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences and lives in Julian.
